2024 Year in Review
We send warm greetings from Budapest!
The following is a short summary of the year here and how our family is doing. We had some big changes this year.
In the summer, two seasoned prayer warriors came to spend some time with us and prayed with us. As she was praying, she saw a room with a bunch of different types of shoes. Fancy high heels, plain tennis shoes, etc... I think this picture sums up this last year well. I don’t know why but God has us in many different shoes doing a lot of different things.
Looking at the past year we did a lot of work first with the local church and with the local House of Prayer in Sopron. Then on a national level with the spiritual parliament. We do most of our work with this group. We are a team of 8 that seeks renewal for the country. We often lead worship events and conferences. On a multi-national level, the group that is forming called Four Chambers of the heart that includes the countries, Slovakia, Czech, Hungary, Austria.
Norbi spends a lot of time traveling and it was a busy year in that regard with trips to Albania, Germany, Austria, Serbia. Many trips in the country also. We put a lot of miles in our car.
There is something interesting that is happening here in Europe right now. As you know Europe has a horrible history of killing and hating each other that has gone on for hundreds of years. God is bringing the Christians together! This has been so exciting to see. We have been part of several meetings that God has urged repentance and reconciliation towards each other. Who would have ever thought that this would happen in our lifetime! The ground here in Europe is so hard and much bloodshed. But God is working!! And we are seeing it.
Family update: Our two oldest boys are in MN. Izrael entered his third year with Bethany Global University and will go on internship in Israel in January. Izaac also entered his third year of Theology and Bible at North Central University. Selah was in MN for 5 months this summer working to earn money for college next year. Zion turned 15 and is busy researching what he wants to do in the future.
In September we moved to Budapest and now live in a small apartment. Life is very different now. We are involved in a large English-speaking church which Norbi has been asked to help with the Hungarian group. Many different ‘shoes’ are being thrown at us and we need to be careful to only wear the shoes that God wants for us. We want to thank you for praying for us and being with us on this journey. We send our love! Merry Christmas. May God bless your coming year with joy, peace and more of Him!
