2025, the last couple of months

Dear Prayer Partners,
I would like to share a few things that happened in the past couple of months and ask you to pray with me for some of these new developments.
First of all, Leslie is doing a lot better. She still has some nerve pain quite often, but nothing like before. Selah is off to college this fall, but she leaves at the end of April to work at Lake Geneve Christian Center during the summer. Zion also got a job at the same place, which is a miracle. He is so excited. Leslie is bringing them to MN at the end of April.
I’m going in August to MN to pick up Zion. Hopefully I can meet with some of you there.
We have some exciting news here in Budapest. We are part of an International Church, where we have people from more than 40 nations. It’s a growing, dynamic church, full of life. We really enjoy it. When we arrived, the pastor asked me, if I would be willing to translate the service into Hungarian every 3rd Sunday of the month. This was the first time in more than 10 years of history of the church that they translated a service. During this time, we have a lot of locals/Hungarians come with their relatives. They also asked me, if I could start a Hungarian group inside the church. These groups are called life groups, and these are the life of the church. We have more than 20 life groups in this church. We meet on Sunday afternoon with this Hungarian group. We are still small, but praying it grows into a church plant. This is one of our prayer requests.
- Would you please pray that we get strategy and direction from the Lord for the next steps.
- Would you please pray that I receive grace to be able to translate. I am not a translator although I know both languages, it is still hard for me to translate from English to Hungarian.

Also, I became part of an international organization TJCII (Towards Jerusalem Counsil II.), it is an initiative of repentance and reconciliation between the Jewish and Gentile segments of the Body of Messiah.
Per scripture, the Jewish apostles of Jesus welcomed Gentiles without requiring that they become Jews (Acts 15). Following the historical exclusion, erasure, and attempted eradication of Jewish followers of Jesus from the Body of Messiah, TJCII is proceeding toward a second Jerusalem Council. This second council is significant because it signifies a turning point where the Gentile church will animate, advocate for, and accept Jewish followers of Jesus with their Jewish identity and practice.
With this group in Hungary, we are planning to gather messianic Jewish believers in Budapest. It is like a church plant for Jews who believe in Yeshua. We have even looked at a possible place for gathering in Budapest at the Scottish Mission. This mission had a great work hiding Jews during WWII. One of their missionaries, Jane Haining, who was carried off to Auschwitz in 1944 and died a martyr’s death.
- Would you please pray we can gather Jewish believers in Budapest and be able to meet weekly.

Thirdly, we are part of a spiritual parliament, where we gather regularly to decree God’s plan for the country. Each meeting is different, as the Lord leads us.
- Would you please pray for me as we have some things we must deal with inside the group. Satan wants to destroy our group within. Two of the members have relationship issues that make it hard to focus on the real issues.

In the beginning of April, I’m going to Moldova with the EUiP (Europeans United in Prayer). We will have a prayer week praying for the nation, praying for Israel and Ukraine and having a prayer breakfast at their Capital.
- Would you please pray for this trip that we can accomplish what God is intended for us to.

We are part of the Bethany House of Prayer in Budapest that started when we moved here.

Thank you for carrying us in prayer!
Blessings to you all
Norbert & Leslie
