Exciting New Developments:
The mission agency that we are with is Bethany Gateways. They have been sending out and training missionaries for 70 years. This past winter, we have been in talks with Bethany Global University and we are happy to announce that we will have six Bethany missionary interns in Sopron, Hungary this September. They are coming for 16 months. We also have the 2020 group with 7 interns starting the following year.
Please pray for us this summer as we have several big projects to organize.
We will have an English camp and also a camp for the orphans.
Evangelist Carl Anderson will be here in July. Please pray for these meetings. We can’t wait to see what God is going to do!
We also need to have our house insulated before winter. A thick foam is put on the outside then glued and painted. Also, we need to have heating installed.
I wanted to share about something that is going on here. I know you can see and hear about the physical side about what we are doing here. The spiritual side is what I want to share. In the past 75 years this country has been through a lot. In the very town we live in, had Jews locked in their barns, treated as animals and hundreds were killed during WWII. We live a 10 minute walk from a mass grave. Five days before the liberation, March 30th 1945, the SS in collaboration with the locals, shot the rest of the labor camp prisoners in this village.
After this happened the country was under communism for 45 years. The spiritual ground is very rocky. There are very few believers here and the few that they have are first generation Christians. This is what we see spiritually, we see a battleship being built. This battleship will pave the way for God to work mightily here. This ship is being built with prayer and worship. We want to thank you for being part of the building of this ship.
Is your church interested in partnering with us? Please reach out to your church leaders for us. Leslie would love to meet them while in MN.
